The Avanti Racing Team will head into NZ’s REV Cycling Race without any pressure after a great start to the 2015 season. Stepping up to a UCI 1.2 ranked event for the first time this year the REV represents the final round of the UCI Oceania Tour for 2015 and promises to be a hotly contested.

Taylor Gunman heads the ranking after his wins in the NZ Cycle Classic and the Oceania Championships Road Race with 152 points followed by teammates Joe Cooper (105) and Paddy Bevin (98). Despite sitting out the Oceania Championships Coopers victory in the NZ National Championships Road Race and 3rd place overall at the Herald Sun Tour pushed him high up the leader board. Bevin’s win on the final stage of the Herald Sun Tour and 2nd overall netted him a massive 72 points. Cooper will miss the REV however which means Bevin could move into 2nd overall but it’s impossible for anyone to catch Taylor. Following Bevin in 4th is Drapac’s Jordyn Kerby closely followed by Jason Christie (72) in 5th, Tom Davison  (46) in 6th and Neil Van Der Ploeg (24) in 9th.

The full roster for the REV is Paddy Bevin, Fraser Gough, Cameron Karwowski, Luke Mudgeway and Taylor Gunman.
